Boxon Honored with Volvo Car’s “Sustainability Long-Term Partnership Award”
From 26 to 28 November 2025, Volvo Car APAC Supply Chain Sustainability Tech Show was successfully held at Volvo Car Asia Pacific Headquarters in Shanghai. As an invited participant, Boxon was honored with the “Sustainable Long-Term Partner Award.” Since its launch in 2020, the exhibition has become a key platform for Volvo Car to connect with industry partners, showcase cutting-edge technologies, and co-create shared value.
Long-Term Collaboration Building a Foundation of Trust
The collaboration between Boxon China and Volvo Car began in 2018, initially focusing on packaging solutions for SKD (Semi Knocked Down) vehicle export projects, while also providing packaging materials and services for multiple Volvo Car plants. As a globally preferred packaging supplier to Volvo Car, Boxon’s innovative packaging solutions have helped reduce logistics costs by more than 30%.
In addition, Boxon has played a pivotal role in the implementation of Volvo Car’s global unified packaging standards, becoming the only global packaging partner supporting multiple locations across Europe and China.
In the aftermarket packaging segment, Boxon has been involved in Volvo Car’s localized spare parts packaging programs since 2015. Through strong supply chain collaboration, Boxon has ensured the efficient delivery of Volvo Car parts to customers worldwide.
Commitment to a Sustainability-Driven Strategy
Boxon regards sustainability as one of its core corporate strategies and has set a target to reduce carbon emissions by 50% by 2030. According to the Boxon Sustainability Report 2024, the company has already achieved a 33% reduction in carbon emissions compared with its 2019 baseline. In 2025, Boxon was awarded the EcoVadis Platinum Medal for sustainability performance, ranking among the top 1% of over 130,000 assessed companies globally.
