Boxon participates in World Cleanup Day – for a sustainable future

On 20 September, Boxon once again took part in World Cleanup Day which is a global movement where millions of people around the world unite to reduce litter and protect nature.

For us at Boxon, sustainability is more than just a word – it is part of our everyday life and a key foundation in everything we do. That is why it is natural for us to participate in World Cleanup Day year after year. By collecting litter together with colleagues, families, and millions of others, we show that even small actions can make a big difference. This year, Boxon employees once again joined forces to contribute to a cleaner and more sustainable world.

Participating in World Cleanup Day is also a way for us to connect with our long-term sustainability goal, Zero Waste 2030. It is a goal that is about reducing waste and finding smarter, more resource-efficient solutions in everything we do.

What is World Cleanup Day?

World Cleanup Day started in 2008 in Estonia, when more than 50,000 people came together and collected over 10,000 tons of litter in a single day. The idea quickly spread, and today it is a global movement involving nearly every country in the world. The purpose is to reduce waste, raise awareness, and strengthen the sense of community. Everyone can join and contribute to a cleaner planet.
